Automatic hydraulic lathe for large section timber with three hydraulic copiers, the first of which can be set for pre-cutting to round and the third of which can be set to make a secondary cut during the saddle return mode. The copiers can be programmed for any cutting combination. The gouge holders on copiers are adjustable and inclinable.
Hopper loading is fully automatic up to diameters of 140 mm and semi-automatic for diameter from 140 mm to 220mm
The lathe is equipped, as standard, with five back knives but is capable of accepting up to six back knives.
Round steadies of varying dimensions can be used, as can the new self-centering square steady.
With programmed logic including a self-learning program for creating, revising, modifying and storing up to 70 different work cycles.
Computer control via a keyboard with 4x40 character display of menus, measurements and alarms.
There are 8 speed ranges already entered in the storage which can be modified during actual working.
