A self contained lathe suitable for pratically all your turning work in the average workshop. The bed of the machine is heavy duty machined faces. The headstock is arranged to hold the pully and drive belt. The spindle is threaded at the front to take face plates and bored out to No 2 morse taper to take centres, the shaft is also extended out the back of the headstock to take a larger face plate for turning larger work.
The tailstock is bored out to take No 2 morse taper the same size as the headstock, the tailstock is arranged so you can move the shaft out of centre by a screw for taper work.
The lathe has an eight speed capacity via a two speed pulley and a two speed switch.
